Managing MSDs in the Administrative and IT sectors

Workers in the administrative and information technology (IT) sectors are especially at risk from musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) related to prolonged sitting/standing, long periods spent in front of monitors, isolation, telework and inappropriate working conditions.

To tackle the issue, the Romanian focal point is organising a webinar to raise awareness of the most frequent risks encountered in the administrative and IT sectors and provide participants with adequate solutions and good practice examples for preventing MSDs and tackling psychosocial risks. Participants also learn about using ergonomics to ensure safe teleworking and receive an update on the latest developments of the Healthy Workplaces campaign.

Taking place online, the event targets members of national authorities, OSH representatives and experts, occupational physicians/psychologists/psychotherapists, as well as students, researchers and workers from the administrative and IT sectors.
