Advancing OSH in vocational education: digital tools and practices

The 2nd SEK Ymitou vocational training school in Athens, Greece, is hosting a training seminar organised by EU-OSHA’s national focal point Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The event aims to educate teachers and students on crucial aspects of occupational safety and health (OSH) in the digital era with emphasis to the advantages, the challenges and the new digital technologies and smart systems that can be used in the field of OSH.

The activity, co-funded by EU-OSHA, will also familiarise them with digital tools for conducting risk assessment studies such as EU-OSHA's Online Interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA).

The seminar emphasises the importance of integrating OSH principles into vocational education. Attendees will be listening to presentations covering topics such as the national OSH system, sedentary work-related musculoskeletal disorders and psychosocial risks associated with digital technologies in workplaces.
