Join the National Movement Minute Campaign!
32% of the Netherlands population spends more than 8.5 hours a day sitting. An important part of this time occurs at the workplace: Dutch employees usually sit at work for more than 4 hours every day. Fortunately, the solution is quite simple: get up and move regularly.
In this context, the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment is launching the 'National Movement Minute' campaign. This initiative provides instructional videos, tips, and a WhatsApp service to promote exercise at work. Using a song by a famous Dutch rapper, the campaign encourages workers to get up and exercise one minute every half hour and try to repeat it as many times as possible during a working day.
