Presenting new tools for the prevention of MSDs

With around 3 in 5 workers in the EU suffering from MSDs, the importance of tools that can help organisations to implement, manage and evaluate policies to prevent their development in the workplace cannot be understated. This will be the focus of a webinar organised by the Belgian Focal Point on 24 June.

Highlighting the key theme of the ‘Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load’ campaign, there will be a presentation of two valuable new additions to the current MSD prevention toolbox. First, The CPI Checklist - Ergonomics and MSDs, an accessible tool that can help to treat and prevent MSDs, and to develop an ergonomics policy. Second, The Alert Indicators Tool - Ergonomics and MSD Prevention, which includes several indicators to monitor ergonomics policy and MSD prevention, as well as having the capacity to provide data and set priorities.

Participants will include all actors involved in MSD prevention policies, such as workers' representatives, in-house or external prevention advisers, HR professionals and business managers.
