European Week for Safety and Health at Work 2021

This year’s European Week for Safety and Health at Work is raising awareness about the Healthy Workplaces Campaign 20-22, running since October 2020. With the topic: Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load, the campign tackles the prevention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).

The campaign is putting the focus on different "priority areas" within the wide topic of MSDs, and until now Prevention, Facts and Figures, Chronic Conditions and Sedentary work have gathered a variety of resources, such as info sheets, infographics, presentations, reports, OSHwiki articles and many more. Many news articles have been also published since October 2020 highlighting different angles of these priority areas. Worker diversity is the next priority area to be the focus from November 2021 to January 2022.

EU-OSHA collaborates with an extensive network of national focal pointsofficial campaign partnersmedia partners and OSH ambassadors from the Enterprise Europe Network. They work together to raise awareness during the European Week, organising many events, including conferences, competitions, training sessions, exhibitions and networking and good practice events, both online and onsite (COVID-19 pandemic permitting). This year partners can focus the European Week on any of the priority areas already available or on any other interesting topic for the prevention of MSDs.

There are lots of ways to get involved in the campaign.

Join the European Week and celebrate with EU-OSHA and its partners!
