Mission Statement

TIC Council is a global association representing over 90 international independent third-party testing, inspection, certification and verification organizations. The industry represents an estimated one million employees across the world with annual sales of approximately USD 200 billion.
As the voice of the global independent testing, inspection and certification industry, the TIC Council engages governments and key stakeholders to advocate for effective solutions that protect the public, support innovation and facilitate trade. The TIC Council works with its members to promote best practices in safety, quality, health, ethics and sustainability.

Our campaign pledge

The vision of our organization is to be recognized and trusted globally as the voice of the independent testing, inspection and certification industry, and to stand for best practice and the highest standards in safety, quality, health, ethics and sustainability. Through their work, TIC Council Members ensure the safety of equipment, reduce the risk of accidents, protect the environment and set and influence high standards throughout the world. We will contribute to the dissemination of the campaign objectives and materials among all our members. Considering our Members' expertise, together with our willing to cooperate with other partners, we believe that the campaign will be a collective success. We will use our social media to promote the campaign, look into organising joint seminars, webinars or workshops with the support of our members. Potentially develop a joint toolbox to be disseminated through our membership.
