Appropriate awareness-raising for MSDs among contract staff is of particular importance at TITAN Cement Company. Indicatively, Kamari plant employs approximately 250 contract workers from 20 companies who are engaged in first-line tasks and, as a result, may be subjected to musculoskeletal strain.

To increase understanding of the impact and provide useful information and tips on the importance and prevention of MSDs among contractors, the Occupational Health Promotion Units (OHPW) of the Company are implementing several in-person information sessions.

During the sessions, the brochure on the function and injuries of the intervertebral disc that has been published by the OHPWs will be distributed to the contract staff.
