Seminario: Seguridad y salud en el trabajo: Lugares de trabajo europeos más saludables, seguros y productivos
Seminar: Safety and health at work: Healthier, safer and more productive European workplaces
This international seminar, organised by Centro Español para Asuntos de los Trabajadores (C.E.A.T.), will take place on February 19, 20 and 21, 2021 in Bilbao, Spain. The main objective of this event will be to promote the culture of prevention, understood as the collection of positive attitudes and beliefs, shared by everyone in the company about health, risks, accidents, diseases and preventive measures. It is crucial to understand how to create a culture of occupational risk prevention, and this seminar will present the necessary information to work in this direction.
The various presentations to be made are related to the main lecture, entitled “Promoting a culture of effective prevention as a means of reducing occupational accidents and improving the competitiveness of the company”. This event will address issues such as the challenges of occupational risk prevention in SMEs, the results of the 2019 ESENER survey, occupational exoskeletons in occupational risk prevention, and more. The 2020-22 Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign, focused on the prevention and management of work-related musculoskeletal disorders, will be introduced by EU-OSHA.
C.E.A.T. is a member of the non-profit organization European Centre for Workers' Questions (EZA), an official campaign partner for EU-OSHA’s “Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load” campaign 2020-2022. Present in more than 30 European countries, EZA is committed to the education of workers together with its 70 member centers. They work to unite workers' organisations, unions and educational institutions, and are guided by Christian-social values.
