Mission Statement
The Federation of European Social Employers represents the voice of employers in the field of social services at European level. The Social Employers understand social services to comprise all care and support services, especially for older persons, persons with disabilities, children, and other excluded or disadvantaged persons.
The Federation’s objectives are to strengthen the position of employers in social services at European and national level, establish common positions between members, and negotiate with European Trade Union Associations, representing workers in social services. By doing so, the Social Employers contribute to quality service provision and quality jobs.
Our campaign pledge
Musculoskeletal disorders is the most widespread cause of occupational disease in social services. Preventing them is a priority for employers as well as an important starting point to improve working conditions and attractiveness in the sector. We will work on this campaign as social partners, with EPSU, to highlight specifics of working conditions in our sector that can complement EU OSHA expertise, to our mutual benefit. We will encourage our respective affiliates to participate in our joint activities and to pursue our shared priorities - between national Social Partners - and with national OSHA representations.

Director
The Social Employers is the European voice of employers in Social Services, which are heavily affected by Musculoskeletal disorders.
Preventing them is a priority for employers in the sector and a starting point in working conditions' improvement.
Working together as employers and employees’ representatives is the best way to achieve progress and get positive results in this field.
The “'Healthy Workplaces - lighten the load” campaign with EU-OSHA will be very helpful to draw attention to the topic, share and develop innovative prevention practices with the help of the experts from the EU agency.
