Bozpinfo, published by Occupational Safety Research Institute, in cooperation with the Czech National Focal Point (Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs) and other collaborators, including BOZPprofi, are organising a children’s art competition entitled ‘Humans and Robots at Work’, targeting children aged 6-16.

Organised in the framework of the 2023-25 Healthy Workplaces Campaign ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’, the competition invites entries until 31 March. Its primary objective is to introduce the younger generation to the topic of digitalisation and occupational safety and health (OSH), cultivate their awareness about the benefits, risks and challenges associated with digital technologies. Through art, children are empowered to envision a safer and healthier future in the digital era.

Teachers are playing a pivotal role in acquainting students with the evolving landscape of digital technologies within the context of safety and health. Participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity by crafting artwork that portrays real-life scenarios wherein children interact with digital tools such as PCs, laptops, cell phones, drones, and more. Moreover, they can illustrate situations where adults utilise such devices in a variety of workplace settings, ranging from robotic vacuum cleaners to driverless vehicles, exoskeletons, and technical robots. The competition also welcomes entries with a humorous or tragicomic touch, depicting both amusing and challenging situations arising from the use of digital technologies in the workplaces.

Detailed information about the competition, including guidelines for teachers and the entry form, is available on the dedicated website.
