Training and work in the society of the third millennium, experts meet in Melendugno (Italy)

The conference on training and work was held in Melendugno (Italy), on November 23, to discuss perspectives and critical issues with experts.

The Puglia Region has invested heavily on training and is trying to build increasingly solid and effective training courses focusing on collaboration with schools and training institutions of excellence, in fact the conference was opened by the Regional Councilor for Training and Work, Sebastiano Leo.

The Mayor of Melendugno, Marco Potì, highlighted the importance of training for inclusion in the workplace, in the local area it is necessary to focus on tourism and health and safety in reception.

A rich program in which the issues of new professional profiles in the third sector, academic training in the European context, the role of trade unions after Law 107, up to ongoing training were dealt with.

Mario Stigliano, Director of Safety Focus, also spoke on "The new EU-OSHA campaign: training in the use of hazardous substances".

Among the speakers there were also the heads of the Dimitrie Cantemir Christan University, Nunzia Onesti, head of the Leonardo Da Vinci University, Anna Marinella Chezza, CPIA school director, Pasquale Ruggiero, director of the Polisa University Campus and prof. Luigi Spedicato of the University of Salento.

The professor. Leonardo Bianchi, Director General of the UF Academy, drew the conclusions of the day which revealed three fundamental aspects: training is the tool for personal and professional growth for all, through training it is possible to circulate on the European market and focus on health and security is the main objective, going through the campaigns promoted by the EU-OSHA.
