Exploring digital technologies and robotics in Croatian enterprises

A day full of insightful sessions awaits work safety professionals from Croatia as they gather for the launch of the ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign in Zagreb.

The central theme of the event will revolve around the challenges and benefits to safety and health at work presented by digitalisation, with a particular focus on hybrid working models within Croatian companies.

An array of topics will be explored, ranging from the potential of digital technologies to enhance occupational safety and health (OSH) to the impact of robotics on the mental health of workers, and collaborative driven by . Moreover, the specifics of the latest edition of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign, set to run until 2025, will be unveiled.

This seminar, organised by Ministarstvo rada, mirovinskoga sustava, obitelji i socijalne politike, EU-OSHA’s focal point in Croatia, will feature prominent speakers from major companies, ministries and academia.

AI-based systems can be purely software-based, acting in the virtual world (e.g. voice assistants, image analysis software, search engines, speech and face recognition systems) or AI can be embedded in hardware devices (e.g. advanced robots, autonomous cars, drones or Internet of things applications). .
