Digitalisation has had a profound impact on every aspect of society. The field of occupational safety and health (OSH) is no different, and digital technologies offer many advantages to ensure that workers are safe when performing their tasks. However, they also bring challenges.

Mindful of the rapidly changing workplace as a result of digital transformation, our national focal point in Malta, the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, will host an informative webinar aimed at providing a holistic overview of how OSH is evolving in the digital age.

Safeguarding workers’ health is at the forefront of this event. Experts will share insights on the safe use of work equipment in an increasingly technological world and attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on how digitalisation is transforming workplace risks. The webinar will feature a discussion psychosocial risks and musculoskeletal disorders in the digitalised work environment.

Our Healthy Workplaces 'Safe and healthy work in the digital age' Campaign will be presented at the seminar. Participants will explore how the campaign offers valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation for OSH and how they can get involved.
