Minimising MSD risks when working from home

Following the Covid-19 pandemic, the prevalence of remote working has not only increased, but looks here to stay. As a result, guidance on maintaining a safe and healthy workspace, that minimises the risk of developing or exacerbating musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) must adapt.

Our Estonian national focal point has organised an event to gather state institutions, enterprise and OSH professionals to raise awareness among both employers and employees about remote work, and ways to do it safely and ergonomically.

Legislative changes and recent research will be discussed, and participants will benefit from practical examples and helpful tips to overcome the most common challenges.

Moderator: Ave Laas, Smartwork association

Speakers:

  • Kristel Abel, FoP/ media adviser, Esotnian Labor Inspectorate
