New handbook on MSDs presented at Slovenian education and career fair
A new handbook on work-related musculoskeletal disorders was presented at the Slovenian education and career fair.
The Slovenian focal point attended the 14th Informativa - the annual Slovenian education and career fair, where organisations hold information stands on educational and employment opportunities for young people at the beginning of their career path. The fair took place on the 20 and 21 January 2023 at the Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ljubljana.
At the stand, the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the Republic of Slovenia invited attendees to learn more about safety and health at work. They also had the opportunity to meet and learn more with Napo!
Among other information and publications available, visitors were invited to have a look at the new handbook on work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) - a publication published by the Ministry in cooperation with the trainee specialists in occupational health, traffic and sports medicine and trainee specialists in physical and rehabilitation medicine.
The handbook is aimed at employers, workers, and their representatives, and provides an overview of the most common work-related MSDs as well as the methods for their prevention and rehabilitation. The publication is available to download in Slovenian and English.
