Mission Statement
The International Federation of Physiotherapists working in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (IFPTOHE) is committed to contributing towards the improvement of the health and wellbeing of the European workforce through supporting, developing and promoting the practice of Physiotherapists working in Occupational Health and Ergonomics.
One way to obtain this is by collaborating with international stakeholders to participate in the development of policy and legislation within the European field of work and health. The global perspective of IFPTOHE, through our members outside Europe, can serve as a foundation and a stage for knowledge dissemination. Joining this campaign will support European IFPTOHE member-organisations in their national collaborations with stakeholders, bring forward shared issues in practice and opportunities to work on solutions together.

Our campaign pledge
Our member organisations - will be supported to -raise awareness among employers and employees of the importance to identify risk factors for physical work load, in order to apply ergonomic interventions and promote physical well-being. We will actively encourage our 14 European member organisations to join the “lighten the load” campaign and share good practices, this will help promote preventive actions and management of work-related musculoskeletal disorders.
