Our campaign pledge
Bridgestone EMIA conducts business in 40 countries, employs over 21,000 people and interacts with diverse cultures and local communities throughout the world. Bridgestone strives to co-create social and customer value by working with diverse stakeholders to improve the quality of life for people in local communities and its employees. It does so by contributing to a safer society, supporting accessible and inclusive education, and promoting healthier communities. By helping to raise awareness of the principles of Ergonomics, as a partner of this campaign, Bridgestone aims to support the reduction and early detection of muscoskeletal disorders. Through our network of global stakeholders, Bridgestone and its subsidiaries will be engaged with the campaign across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa - from plants to warehouses, from retail outlets to offices. We will consolidate both the commitment of our leadership and the knowledge of our global network of H&S professionals to drive internal and external visibility on how the company manages ergonomic risks. Bridgestone will be proud to support the Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign across internal and external corporate channels, leveraging National Focal Points to support the local campaigns and provide clear messaging that is translated to ensure the maximum adoption. We look forward to being an active campaign partner with EU-OSHA to promote wellbeing and healthy workplaces.
