Italy - Futures. Foresight and priority setting in OSH
An International workshop organised by the Partnership for European Research in Occupational Safety and Health (PEROSH) and the Italian National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work (INAIL) takes place in Rome to present and discuss the results of the two-year research project “Futures. Foresight and priority setting in OSH”.
The project has been coordinated by INAIL with the joint support of three other PEROSH members: the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA, Germany), the National Institute for Research and Safety (INRS, France) and the Health and Safety Laboratories (HSL, UK). It is based on the EU-OSHA report on Priorities for occupational safety and health research in Europe: 2013-20. The report covers four main themes: demographic change; globalisation and the changing world of work; OSH research for safe new technologies; and new or increasing occupational exposures.
Researchers working in all the PEROSH member Institutes have been directly involved in a two-round Delphi survey to express their ideas on future research needs at European level (first round) and to prioritise these research proposals (second round).
EU-OSHA’s Italian focal point, INAIL, and official campaign partner (OCP) of the Healthy Workplaces for All Ages Campaign, PEROSH, invite you to join the workshop to learn about the results of this project and share your opinion on future European research needs.
