Germany - Digitalisation of elderly care

Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und ArbeitsmedizinDresdenGermany

This event makes the observation that robots, intelligent systems and complex automation concepts are already a big part of daily working life. In health care, and especially in medicine, technology is also increasingly gaining ground but in elderly care these new technologies are not widely used.

Speakers aim to cover the existing applications and share examples and experiences already faced in elderly care facilities. They also raise the question of whether service robots, sensors for behavioral analysis or Transponder systems in inpatient care facilities and outpatient services will be soon more frequent.

The event concludes with a one hour marketplace during which suppliers of new technologies in the elderly care sector can present and inform attendees about their products, application possibilities and previous findings based on practical application and successful implementation.
