Social Partners’ Conference on Continuing Professional Development "Working together, learning together - Switching to the learning mode"
HOSPEEM and EPSU will organise a European conference in Amsterdam on 19 and 20 June on Continuing Professional Development (2017-2018).
This conference is organised in the framework of a 2-year EU-funded project jointly run by the European Hospital and Healthcare Employers' Association (HOSPEEM) and the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) aiming to contribute to achieving improved and attractive recruitment and effective retention conditions in the hospital and health care sector, with a particular focus on continuing professional development (CPD) and occupational safety and health (OSH).
Through this project, the social partners aim to identify existing good practice examples, to exchange knowledge and to mutually learn from each other.
This first conference aims to contribute to raise awareness on the importance of continuing professional development and on the key role played by social partners in this field, building on the HOSPEEM-EPSU Joint Declaration on Continuing Professional Development and Life-Long Learning for All Health Workers in the EU adopted in November 2016.
