This short guidance document is for use by occupational safety and health (OSH) representatives. It provides a summary of the main issues related to the OSH of older workers (with a specific section on older women). It also includes a checklist of nine questions to ensure that the OSH of older workers is taken into account in the everyday management of a business.

The aim of this short guidance document is to provide occupational safety and health (OSH) representatives with background information and a checklist to ensure that the safety and health of older workers is addressed.

A summary of the main issues as regards the OSH of older workers (with a specific section on older women) is provided and at the end is a checklist of nine questions to be used by safety representatives to ensure that the OSH of older workers is taken into account in the everyday management of the business.
