IOSH supports the Healthy Workplaces for All Ages campaign and proactive age-management approach
Official campaign partner, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), has launched a national campaign in the UK to promote healthy workplaces for all ages.
IOSH, as the world's biggest professional health and safety membership organisation, is the voice of the profession, campaigning on issues that affect millions of working people.
It has created a dedicated webpage on their website to share information and resources provided by the campaign, along with their own resources linked to the campaign theme. These include a free guide to the key issues of occupational health provision, information on how to rehabilitate people at work and an occupational health toolkit.
IOSH has also reached out to its extensive network of partners, calling on them to participate in the Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards and to organise awareness-raising activities during the European Week for Health and Safety at work.
At the end of 2016, IOSH organised 3 free-to-attend events across the UK (East Anglia, East Midlands and Staffordshire) which presented the Healthy Workplaces for All Ages campaign. IOSH has also sponsored research projects on older workers.
