At the World Health and Safety Day, the Safety Focus editorial team organized a series of events with a focus on children during the road-show "Italia Loves Sicurezza", promoted by the LHS Foundation and SAIPEM.
The series of meetings for parents, grandparents and teachers discussed the theme of "Anti Choking in Children" through highly qualified pBLSD instructors.
In addition, the "112 Safety Leader" laboratory was illustrated, which in the past edition of "Italia Loves Sicurezza" has been very successful in Italy and received a special mention from the LHS Foundation and the AIAS Smart Prevention Award.
The "112 Safety Leader" Laboratory was born out of the desire to change the approach to emergency management, especially healthcare, to break the fear and learn to intervene quickly and effectively. Dangerous situations can happen anywhere: at work, at school, at home, in the gym, and with timely intervention, you can save a life ...
... let's then save the children, our future!

Through the games, the lab, and the flash-mob, children learn how to recognize a light emergency (teacher's intervention) or severe (rescue request), how to call 112, provide all the elements needed for rescuers (address, type of accident ...).
The ultimate goal of the initiative is to call 112 to activate the first ring of the survival chain, the most important part in managing an emergency.
