European Week 2017: Macedonia gears up for activities to promote healthy workplaces
EU-OSHA’s focal point in Macedonia, the Macedonian Occupational Safety and Health Association (MOSHA) is marking the European Week for Safety and Health at Work with numerous promotional activities and is also co-organising a regional conference.
As part of the European Week, MOSHA is visiting several companies to distribute promotional material, discuss the Healthy Workplaces campaign, and in particular talk about the challenges and problems facing companies such as the ageing population.
MOSHA is also co-organising the Third International Conference on Regional Cooperation on Occupational Safety and Health on 26-28 October in Budva, Montenegro. The conference has a link to the Healthy Workplaces campaign as it is focusing on creating a healthy working environment, healthy workplaces, and healthy and happy people helping to progress the society they live and work in.
Participants at the conference look at lessons to be learned from case studies on occupational safety and health (OSH), occupational medicine, OSH in construction, continuous professional development, OSH and working culture, the Online Interactive Risk Assessment tool, as well as different legal, technical and economic aspects of OSH.
