Our campaign pledge

EUsalt is the association of crystallised salt producers from Europe and beyond. ‎Through its members, ‎EUsalt represents 77% of the total European salt ‎production. Our members employ nearly 9000 ‎people. The employees represent the most ‎valuable asset of our member companies and the topic of safety and ‎well-being at ‎work was identified as one of the association’s priorities. ‎
Giving its wide range of work environments and technologies, safety and well-being at work are a top ‎priority for the European salt sector. EUsalt’s Health and ‎Safety Committee meets regularly to ‎exchange best practices and to ‎discuss policy updates regarding health and safety at work. By ‎awarding a yearly ‎Safety Award, EUsalt recognises members that show excellence in putting in place ‎‎innovative and effective projects which increase health and safety at the ‎workplace. ‎
By joining the EU ‘Safe and Healthy work in the digital age', EUsalt commits to spreading the word ‎about this campaign via all its ‎communication channels and to sharing all the useful tools and ‎resources provided with ‎its community of members across Europe.‎‎
