More than 100,000 people die each year in the EU as a result of occupational exposure to carcinogens. In the Netherlands this is more than 3,000. In order to prevent exposure to carcinogenic substances as much as possible, a program is underway in Europe (on the Dutch initiative) to help companies take the right measures. Take advantage of it and get involved!

On April 13^th 2022, Jos de Lange (Dutch Focal Point) will talk about the Roadmap on Carcinogens.

About 100 participants are expected to attend this short event.

During this special Knowledge Session, the following topics will be discussed:

• An Introduction to the Roadmap on Carcinogens
• The strategy and 12 challenges that are being performed
• How to apply the STOP method (basic rules for working with hazardous substances) in the workplace
• Practical examples
