How labour inspectors can help to reduce the risk of work-related MSDs

New and emerging risks – such as the increasing threat of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) – mean that occupational safety and health (OSH) practices must regularly adapt and evolve. As a result, it is critical for labour inspectors to stay up to date with the most recent and relevant trends and information.

With this in mind, the Cypriot focal point is organising an informative webinar on 5 April 2022 aimed specifically at labour inspectors. Speakers discuss how to reduce the risk of MSDs in the workplace, alongside other OSH-focused topics such as the restrictions on chemicals, how to safely store flammable liquids in moving containers, and the OSH implications of the Covid-19 pandemic. Speakers also provide information about the latest EU-OSHA campaign, Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load, and highlight a Cypriot company that won an EU-OSHA Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Award.

Taking place online, this event would be relevant and interesting to all labour inspectors working in Cyprus.
