Bulgaria - Good practice exchange visit to a motor and industrial oils company
The visit to Prista Oil Holding EAD is organised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in collaboration with the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria. It aims to raise awareness of the threats posed by dangerous substances in the workplace, particularly when handling motor and industrial oils.
Speakers highlight the importance of promoting Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) measures in small and medium-sized enterprises to establish a strong prevention culture, minimise health hazards and increase workability.
They share examples of successfully applied risk management models to encourage companies in Bulgaria to apply risk prevention measures at all levels. Speakers explain that the effective management of dangerous substances can lead to a reduction in accidents and economic benefits. They stress that risk management needs to be considered before introducing new technologies or products.
