- Moving through the (Working)Day
This year again the Health and Safety Day took place on September 9. Due to the pandemic situation, a virtual marketplace was available for all employees.
The Motto : “together towards a healthy and safer workplace”. From games to recorded lectures or best practice sharing – the virtual marketplace offers engaging and informative content for Bayer employees.
Here are some highlights from this year's event:
- Muscoskeletal Disorders (MSD)
As a supporter of the campaign “Healthy Workplaces – Lighten the Load” of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), we want to offer support and guidance in preventing or dealing with MSDs.
When you feel pain in your back or your upper or lower limbs, you might be suffering from a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD). The development of work-related MSDs can potentially be caused by lifting or carrying, by an ergonomically unfavorable workplace but also by heavy mental workload and many other risk factors. With lighten the load we provide tools and guidance for the prevention.
- Health and Safety Day Photo Contest – Congratulations to the Winners!
809 photos have been uploaded - every photo showed how our colleagues contribute to making the workplace at Bayer, as well as their private lives, healthy and safe.
- Positive Psychology
Never heard of it? It is a relatively young discipline in psychology that focuses on topics like happiness, well-being, and life satisfaction. Positive Psychology has the aim to improve life-quality and strengthen resilience – something that also your work-life will profit from.
