Optimising remote working processes to keep workers safe and healthy

The COVID-19 has led to a huge increase in remote working, bringing with it both advantages and disadvantages. The health and safety of remote workers cannot be monitored on a regular basis, so good OSH management is key to preventing the risks associated with teleworking, including MSDs.

To discuss these issues, the Bulgarian focal point hosts a seminar on 16 October where presentations look at how to best organise and optimise processes for teleworking; procedures to minimise the risks of COVID-19; and how to deal with psychosocial risks. Discussions then turn to the digitalisation of work and emerging risks and the role of management in achieving positive results.

Taking place in Kardjali, the seminar is aimed primarily at members of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG).

  • Vessela Bahchevanova, Director of European Programs and Projects, CEIBG
