Mission Statement
The Association has the purpose of bringing together at European level the national associations of employers in the hospital and health care sector, to coordinate their viewpoints and their actions in the context of a sector and a market undergoing constant evolution.
Our campaign pledge
HOSPEEM is committed to supporting the 'Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load 2020-22' campaign in full cooperation with the European Federation of Public Services Unions and stakeholders active in health and social policy. We will share the campaign and its activities with HOSPEEM members, hospital and healthcare Employers in the European Union, United Kingdom and Norway. Raising awareness on MSDs, especially in the health sector, is key for the health and safety of its workers.

Sustainable participation of all health professionals is the most direct contribution to dealing with potential workforce-related issues. HOSPEEM warmly supports the 2020-2022 EU-OSHA Campaign promoting Healthy Workplaces, thereby identifying the need for promoting a prevention culture involving both employers and workers. HOSPEEM will continue to promote the creation and maintenance of the safest possible workplaces and to promote active participation in continuing professional development (CPD) and life-long learning (LLL) for all health professionals. I am convinced that our work and initiatives in the field of MSD and OSH in the framework of the EU Sectoral Social Dialogue for the Hospital sector will lead to safer and healthier workplaces across Europe.
