The dangers of sitting too much while teleworking

The growth of teleworking over the past year has brought with it both benefits and challenges. Research shows that sitting too much is detrimental to health and can lead to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).

To address this issue, the Finnish focal point is holding a webinar focusing on how to ensure that the benefits outweigh the disadvantages when teleworking. Speakers discuss how to work more ergonomically, and participants learn from real-life success stories and practical lessons learned in workplaces.

Taking place online, the 100 or so participants include representatives from both the private and public sectors; SMEs and larger enterprises; the media; as well as OSH organisations and NGOs.
