Mission Statement
The mission of the Global Alliance for Musculoskeletal Health is to promote musculoskeletal health and science worldwide to reduce the burden and cost of musculoskeletal conditions to individuals, carers and society worldwide. The prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries should be among the leading health concerns in the minds, actions and funding priorities of policy makers, health providers and the public.

Good musculoskeletal health is essential for full productive working lives but musculoskeletal conditions are the greatest cause of disability in most countries. Action is needed to promote and protect musculoskeletal health in the workplace and to enable people with musculoskeletal conditions to stay in work.
