The ETUI as the coordinator of the Workers’ Interest Group (WIG) of the Advisory Committee for Safety and Health at Work (ACSH) together with the Hungarian Trade Union Confederation (MASZSZ) will organise the 16th Annual Strategic Seminar for the WIG of the ACSH to be held on 10 and 11 September 2019 in Budapest, Hungary.

This seminar follows the process aimed at strengthening the trade union strategies and activities in the occupational health and safety, which was launched in Warsaw in 2004. The topics of the seminar will focus the future European Commission strategy on OHS  and involvement of trade unions and WIG of the Advisory Committee for Safety and Health at Work and its Working Parties in  the process. 

A special part of the seminar will be dedicated to EU OSHA campaign on dangerous substances. Under the title "Cancer campaign: state of play and strategy for future" the participants will evaluate what was achieved in the framework of the campaign and what the unions will do in next months and years.
