With this tool, an enterprise can check whether sufficient measures have been taken to prevent and limit accidents and the serious consequences associated with the storage of explosive substances.

 

The instrument is intended for both Seveso companies and non-Seveso companies that store explosive substances. This tool focuses on all types of storage of explosive substances in buildings and is published by the Federal Public Service Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue.

The measures are grouped under the following risks:

  • fire
  • explosion
  • contamination
  • intrusion and theft.

Certain measures that are common to different risks occur in the parts that combine multiple risks (fire and explosion, explosion and contamination).
