EU-OSHA and SLIC are working together to jointly carry out actions with the goal of achieving a synergy effect by combining enforcement activities (conducted by labour inspectorates) with prevention, awareness-raising, information and educational initiatives, which are mainly the responsibility of EU-OSHA and EU-OSHA’s national focal points.
The meeting of 30 September gathers labour inspectorate representatives from all countries offering the opportunity to participate in the initiative (EU-27 Member States and Norway), as well as representatives of national focal points tasked with prevention activities. On behalf of SLIC, preparations for the campaign are coordinated by the EMEX Working Group, supported by Lorenzo Munar and Tim Tregenza, representing EU-OSHA.
