The pros and cons of teleworking for workers’ health and well being

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen a massive increase in remote working, and while offering many advantages to employers and workers, working from home can lead to increased occupational risks linked to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and psychosocial factors.

On 1 August, the Bulgarian focal point hosts a seminar focusing on optimising work processes for people working from home. Speakers discuss procedures to minimise the risk of COVID-19, psychosocial risks and offer tips on preventive and corrective actions to improve OSH management. The focus then shifts to addressing the challenges for safety and health at work in dealing with the digitalisation of work processes and related emerging risks.

Held in the city of Dryanovo, the seminar is targeted at Members of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG).
