The 'Healthy Workplaces for All Ages' campaign allows us to reconsider our vision of economy and society as a whole. It will give us a chance to properly respond to recent demographic challenges emerging in the European Union.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to improve the quality of teaching and school management through European cooperation and dialogue. EFEE acts on behalf of its members in its role as officially recognised European social partner in education and as an official dialogue partner to EU institutions.
Our aims are to raise awareness on and increase commitment to the European policy agenda, influence European policy, dialogue with unions, network and be the voice of our members at EU level.
Our campaign pledge:
As a representative of education employers and recognized social partner in the European Sectoral Social Dialogue, EFEE would like to participate in the campaign related to safety at workplaces for people of all ages, by providing input to outcome documents, recommendations, policy papers, etc. We will also disseminate all information related to the campaign through our channels including the website, newsletter, social media. In addition to this, we will also encourage all member organizations actively participate in the campaign, provide their input and disseminate the information about the outcome of all events, negotiations. Simultaneously, as a European social partner, participating in the European Sectoral Social Dialogue in Education together with European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE), we would like to explore the possibility of developing an online risk assessment (OIRAtool) for the education sector with the support of the European Agency for Occupational Safety and Health (EU-OSHA).
