Secretary General
Our society is ageing and older workers often do not find their place in today's labour markets. Workplaces for all ages will enable people to work up to retirement age. To be successful, it needs to focus on worker of all ages, and especially women whose employment rates in old age are very low.
Mission Statement:
AGE Platform Europe is a European network of some 150 organisations of and for people aged 50+, together representing over 40 million older people in Europe.

Our work focuses on a wide range of policy areas that impact on older and retired people. These include issues of anti-discrimination, employment of older workers and active ageing, social protection, pension reforms, social inclusion, health, elder abuse, inter-generational solidarity, research, accessibility of public transport and of the build environment, and new technologies (ICT). AGE Platform Europe takes also active part in several EU projects.
Our campaign pledge:
We will work with EU-OSHA and our national member organisations to make this campaign a success and to advance the promotion of age-friendly workplaces in Europe.
