23rd Occupational Health and Safety Day focuses on MSDs

The annual Occupational Health and Safety Day in Estonia takes place on 16 November. The aim of the event is to highlight and discuss important occupational safety and health (OSH) topics, and for the second year running the focus will be on musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) – in the framework of the Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign.

Organised by the Estonian focal point, speakers focus on home-office ergonomics, smart devices and mental health in the context of MSDs. A company representative also presents their experience in preventing MSDs and the event ends the focal point awarding two companies with the ‘Good Work Environment Award’.

The event takes place at Tallinn Library and is also streamed online. Participants include company representatives, OSH specialists and interested stakeholders in the region.
