Mission Statement
The European Federation of Education Employers (EFEE) is a dynamic organisation established in 2009 to represent the interests of employers in the strategic and highly diverse European education sector. EFEE represents over 50 education employers coming from 22 European countries, active at all education levels from (pre)-primary, to secondary, vocational education and training, and higher education and research. As an officially recognised European sectoral social partner, the overall objective of EFEE is to represent the interests of education employers at European level and to contribute to the improvement of quality of teaching and school management through European cooperation and dialogue. Our aims are to raise awareness on and increase commitment to the European policy agenda, influence European policy, dialogue with unions, network and be the voice of our members at EU level.
Our campaign pledge
Occupational safety and health is of vital importance to the education sector, which is why the European Federation of Education Employers is pleased to become an Official Campaign Partner to the ''Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load 2020-22''. Promoting the physical and mental wellbeing of students and teachers alike is not only crucial to improving the quality of education at all levels but is also an integral topic to any meaningful social dialogue. We look forward to exchanging experiences and good practices with our colleagues and hope to contribute to improving the occupational safety and health landscape in Europe.
