Executive Director
Demographic change is one of the main challenges Europe has to face. With life expectancy rising and retirement age being consequently postponed, action needs to be taken to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for an ageing workforce. Reducing the exposure to risks at workplaces, preventing disability, facilitating rehabilitation and return to work, but also fighting against discrimination must become priorities if we are to safeguard the health of our workforce.
Beskrivelse af arbejdsopgaver:
The Association Internationale de la Mutualité (AIM) is a grouping of autonomous health insurance and social protection bodies operating according to the principles of solidarity and not-for-profit. Currently, AIM’s membership consists of 61 national federations representing 27 countries. They provide social coverage against sickness and other risks to more than 200 million people worldwide. Via its network, AIM strives to make an active contribution to the preservation and improvement of access to healthcare for everyone.
Vores kampagneløfte:
We believe that the success of the campaign depends on the variety of stakeholders which take part in it. Improving occupational health and tackling social risks in an ageing society requires a broad intersectoral collaboration. Health insurers should undoubtedly be part of the equation.
